AJ Awards 2024
Following the Gold Award success at this year’sScottish Design Awards in July, Athron Hill has now been shortlisted for the Architects Journal Architecture Awards 2024. The AJ notes the awards are “the annual showcase of the very best built projects in the UK” and “with housing a key issue on the government’s agenda, the housing category received more entries than any other this year.”
Set on a brownfield site formerly home to a tuberculosis sanatorium, the project reconsiders the more orthodox volume housebuilder approach to create a new community of bespoke homes unique to the extraordinary woodland setting. Read more about the project here.
